Installer's Review

As an installer for a company that installs this product I can tell you that their products do not seem to be tested properly. There are issues with updating firmware caused by the use of a 232 serial port. Very few computers made today have this port so you have to use a USB to 232 adapter. These adapters do not work well and I have spent 30+ hours struggling to get the process to work. They have released a DMS 3 media streamer which necessitates the firmware updates as well as an Ipad app that requires both your c3 or c5 unit to be updated as well as the Ipad to be updated. Russound has been unsympathetic to the hours and dollars we have lost due to their bad products. I will be looking into Sonos or even Control 4 as I am sick and tired of Russound not resolving their issues.
